Fascination And Efficiency With Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe
The Geneva Motor Show will be the return of the product of an amazing idea this Mercedes-Benz coupe range of the new E-Class. Just three months after submission of the sedan, the brand launches a new highlight in the new model series, while continuing a tradition that has met repeatedly with great enthusiasm throughout the history of E-Class.
The new E-Class Coupé offers a special combination of two attributes for which Mercedes is known: the fascination and efficiency. With its classic cut side - no B-pillars and the fully retractable side windows - the new two-door car is a sport in particular the interpretation of the Class E of the dynamics of the design. At the same time, the most aerodynamic of Alternative Cups reached a new world best in terms of drag coefficient: with a Cd figure of just-0.24, this model is the most aerodynamically efficient series production cars. The model includes two new 4-cylinder engines which consume up to 17% less fuel while providing a significant increase in performance and torque. The new E-Class Coupé-form standard AGILITY CONTROL suspension automatically adjusts to the driving situation. It combines driving pleasure and excellent handling with maximum comfort. The new E-Class Coupe will be in the showrooms of the European Union of Mercedes-Benz dealerships and company-owned outlets in early May 2009.
The new Coupe offers all the technical innovations of the new E-Class series that we might expect to find in a sport-oriented luxury coupe. These include the selective damper control, drowsiness detection, prevention and protection of the occupants Active Bonnet. As a feature specific to the Coupe, driving dynamics package allows different suspension settings at the touch of a button. Adaptive Main Beam Assist, road sign recognition and a system of automatic emergency braking are other features of the new series that sets standards in this vehicle category.
