General’s Full-Size Van of Chevrolet Express 2009


The 2009 Chevrolet Express about a large van must do, but the Dodge Sprinter is high roof option and the higher fuel economy. Although the interior materials and switchgear are still nothing to write about the house, they received last year, some improvements. In the absence of a complete overhaul, the 2009 Chevrolet Express is about as good as the general full-size van will get.

The standard wheelbase (135-inch) Chevrolet Express full-size van is half-ton (1500) and 1 ton (3500) configurations. The extended wheelbase version (155 inch) is only available on the 3500. There are two trim levels: LS and LT. LS models are designed to service the fleet, for the equipment is limited to such features as air conditioning, AM / FM stereo and a theft-deterrent system. The standard engine on the 1500 Express is a 5.3-liter V8 with 301 horsepower and 325 lb.-ft. of torque. A 6.0-liter V8 rated at 323 hp and 373 lb-ft of torque is standard on 3500. All 1500 models a four-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels, while 3500 to obtain a heavy weight version of this transmission.

All models have standard four-disc brake wheel antilock, stability control and side curtain airbags (for the first three rows of seats). Chevrolet is built inside of functionality, not fashion. The configuration of 12 seats, with 8 - and 15-passenger arrangements also available, depending on the model of your choice.
