The 2009 Nissan Sentra is a choice worthy of a sedan in the economy, mainly because of its spacious cabin. However, other choices are more rounded, particularly in terms of entertainment, even compared to the SE-R models. Base models with a small 2.0-liter engine that offers a quality of life compromise between performance and economy, while the SE-R and SE-R Spec V have their own variations of a non-spicy 2.5-liter inline-4. So far, so good, right? However, in such a competitive segment, any fault is magnified and May is the determining factor. Unlike many of its competitors, the Sentra processing capabilities are only mediocre, and therefore this is not the most pleasant little car to drive. Nissan Sentra 2.0 models are equipped with a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine producing 140 hp and 147 lb-ft of torque. Power is channeled to the front wheels through a continuously variable transmission (CVT) or six-speed manual transmission (2.0 S only). Fuel economy for the records of the FPC an EPA estimated 25 mpg city/33 mpg highway and 28 mpg in combined driving, while the manual transmission decreases slightly in fuel economy 24/31 / 27 mpg.

The only transmission available for the Spec V is a six-speed manual transmission. In testing, we have pointed a Spec V from zero to 60 mph in 6.7 seconds quicker. The addition of performance prevents fuel economy, but only slightly - the SE-R Spec manages 24/30/26 mpg V and return 21/29/24 mpg.

All 2009 Nissan Sentra comes standard with the front seat side airbags and full-length side curtain airbags. Antilock brakes are an option for the base model and 2.0 are standard on all others. The increase in performance SE-R models with four-wheel disc brakes, while others have rear drum. Inside, the 2009 Nissan Sentra is on modern industrial design, with well-placed controls and decent materials. The cabin is spacious and can comfortably accommodate adults in a higher place. Small engines, however, may feel a bit buried in the car because of the Sentra upper dashboard and door panels and a non-telescoping steering wheel.
