Panorama Sunroof of Kia KND 5 Concept 2009
Kia has released the first official image of its new KND-5 concept car before its debut in 2009 at Seoul Motor Show which starts later today. Kia says that the KND-5 refers to a “near-luxury” sedan that is scheduled for sale in Korea later this year.
“The aggressive and sophisticated KND-5 illustrates Kia futuristic design and values,” said Hyoung-Keun Lee, Senior Executive Vice President & COO. “As a concept car that shows the direction of the new luxury sedan, design, KND-5 will generate a lot of buzz at the Seoul Motor Show. “
The KND-5 measures 4945mm long, 1850mm wide and 1475mm high with a wheelbase of 2845mm. On the basis of TB, the new KND-5 has an exterior which is highlighted with lines and striking LED headlamps. The new sedan also features a panoramic sunroof and 20-inch alloy wheels. The concept car that will be presented tomorrow in Seoul, has a 277-hp 3.5L Lambda V6 engine under the hood.
